The firm was established in 1986 to provide comprehensive sales coverage of Wisconsin to the Corporate and Incentive Industry.   In addition to representing the Manufacturer, Sales & Marketing Associates launched a fulfillment business to meet customer needs.

Today, Sales & Marketing Associates represents over 30 top manufacturers and is a multi-million dollar sales agency.   Warehouse and fulfillment services are also offered.   Sales & Marketing Associates is a full line distributor for RCA and Panasonic as well as a stocking distributor for LG and Zenith.

We are pleased to have been recognized as the Leading Representative Agency for several companies, a Future 50 Company in 1995 and Motor Clothes Vendor of the Year for Harley-Davidson.

In early 2003, Sales & Marketing Associates moved to it's new headquarters, a 3 acre site in the Germantown industrial park.   This was the fifth move to accommodate growth and featured expanded office and warehouse space.   In January 2005, an additional 13,200 sq. ft. was added to the warehouse to handle our customers increased needs for warehousing and fulfillment services.

Principals & Staff

John C. Evans Chairman John is a 1964 graduate of UW Madison, with a BBA in Marketing.   He was an industry veteran when he started Sales & Marketing Associates, Inc. in 1986. He left a position as Vice President-Sales at Regal Ware in Kewaskum, Wisconsin, to form Sales & Marketing Associates.

Michael J. Evans President Mike is a 1991 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a BBA in Marketing.   After 4 1/2 years with Kraft Foodservice he joined SMA in 1995 as a Sales representative. Mike has worked and trained in virtually all areas of the company.   He was named president in 2003 and continues the family tradition.

Sue Swiedarke Account Executive Sue joined SMA in July of 2002. Sue is responsible for sales activities throughout the United States.

Cathy Marschall Account Executive Cathy joined SMA in January of 2006.

Patty Rottel Office Manager/Sales Support Patty joined SMA in January of 1986.

Laurie Evans Business Development Manager Laurie joined SMA in January of 2004.

Tracy Sinclair Marketing Services Manager Tracy joined SMA in November of 2007.

Emily Reuter Accountant Emily joined SMA in October of 1994.	Wendy Wolf Director of First Impressions Wendy joined SMA in May of 2005.
